She was born March, 30, 1944, in Lincoln to Leonard and Pauline (Rains) Skinner.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Grandview Assembly of God in Natural Dam with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Kenneth Shelley of the home; a daughter Sherry Dyer of Cedarville; three sons, Kenneth Shelley Jr. of Natural Dam, Robert Shelley of Cedarville and Tim Shelley of Natural Dam.; a sister, Barbara Shelley of Natural Dam; a brother, Leonard Skinner of Natural Dam; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one in layaway.Pallbearers will be Steven Shelley, Tim Shelley, Dustin Shelley, Wally Dyer, Marion Shelley, Chris Buffer, Daniel Bates, Tyler Duncan and Eayn Shelley.Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.Online tributes may be left at www.ockerfuneralhome.com.

Evans Hunter, 87, of Van Buren passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob G. Evans; and her second husband, Alvin Hunter; she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Williams; and a brother, Robert Hogue.Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.She is survived by three daughters, Jo Frances Crabtree and husband Bobby, Janice Evans and Norma Jean McAllister, all of Van Buren; one son, John Hayes of Muldrow; one brother, Ray Hogue of Rackerby, Calif.; a half sister, Mary Anita Burris of California; two half brothers, Jerry Brooks and Jimmy Brooks, both of California; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Anthony McGrew, Denzel Cross, Darnell McGee, Bo Evans, Sean Evans and Ross Robinson.Honorary pallbearers will be the ladies Sunday school class at Van Buren First Free Will Baptist Church.The family will visit with relatives and friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren.Online tributes may be left at www.ockerfuneralhome.com.
